Lansing, MI, City Council Passes Alarm Ordinance
Those with faulty alarm systems may want to get them checked. Lansing city council passed and ordinance last month that will fine homeowners who have repeated false alarm calls.
Under the ordinance, alarm systems that generate three or more false alarms during a twelve month period could be subject to civil infractions for each call.
