Beverly, MA, False Alarms to Cost Homeowners
During a Town Meeting in
Beverly, MA, it was voted unanimously to amend the bylaws so that property owners will now pay fees to the town for false alarms requiring a response from police
officers.
With this vote, owners will now pay $50 for a third false alarm in a calendar year, $100 for a fourth and fifth false alarm and $200 for sixth and subsequent false alarms.
